Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take on average for a pre-competitive gymnast to get their kip by following this program?
On average it takes about 12 weeks with this program but some athletes will get it sooner and some later. The program allows for 16 weeks.
What if they don’t get it?
Some athletes will have more trouble than others making their kip. Be patient and continue to work with them where they need it most. If they can do all of the conditioning in this program they will get it eventually.
How many hours should my gymnasts be training in order to start this program?
I would recommend at least 3 days of training at 9+ hours weekly to start this program. Personally, I do not start it until they are training a minimum of at least 9 hours per week but it should be okay for a little less. It may take a little longer to get the kip with less hours but it will still be possible. Be patient.
Does this program work for older gymnasts as well?
Of course it does! The conditioning is quite intense so that is why it is targeted towards younger gymnasts but feel free to try with any gymnasts learning their kip.
