One of my athletes posted this awesome video of her studying and balancing in a handstand. It made me laugh so I thought I would share it with you.

As her coach, I thought it was so awesome that she decided to study while practicing her handstand balancing. I love seeing my athletes have fun with their talents. Flexibility is one of this young lady’s strengths.

This video is not only cute and humorous for many, but also shows her dedication and passion for gymnastics. When she trains more than 20 hours a week and is in full time school, it is difficult to find time to do an extra workout at home as well as do homework and study. She found a creative and fun way to combine them together.

I encourage you to try and better yourself as an athlete┬áby using your time wisely. Stay dedicated to your sport by doing an extra workout outside of training time. Don’t forget to stay on top of your studies.
